Man charged in connection with Ballpark Village shooting, still on the loose

Scotty Joseph Lee was charged with first-degree murder, one count of assault and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with the shooting that left a father dead.

ST. LOUIS – A man is facing charges but is not in custody after police said he shot and killed a man at Ballpark Village over the weekend.

According to a tweet from the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office, Scotty Joseph Lee was charged with first-degree murder, one count of assault and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with the shooting that left a father dead.

Police said Lee did know the victim, Corey Hall, but did not say how they knew each other.

Police said Lee has connections in St. Louis and Texas. Anyone with information about Lee or his whereabouts is asked to call the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.
