CRAWFORD COUNTY, Mo. — A man was killed in a crash on Interstate 44 in Crawford County Tuesday night.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 44-year-old James Hendrickson was driving his 2003 Ford F150 eastbound on I-44 at around 8:10 p.m. The crash report said Hendrickson lost control of his truck and crashed into a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of the highway.
The crash report said Hendrickson was thrown from the vehicle. He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries.
The crash was the second deadly crash investigated by MSHP Troop I this month, and the eighth of 2024. Troop I covers Crawford, Dent, Laclede, Maries, Phelps and Pulaski counties.
