FERGUSON, Mo. — A man has died from a bullet-related injury after gun violence in Ferguson Saturday night.
Officers from the Berkeley Police Department responded to a call for a shooting at Airport Road and Peurifoy Avenue at 9:30 p.m.
Officers found a man in a vehicle with a serious gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital but died of his injuries.
The man was identified Monday as Rayon Peebles, 30, of St. Louis.
Investigation revealed the shooting happened at Airport Road and N. Dade Avenue in the City of Ferguson.
The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons took over the investigation.
