PAGEDALE, Mo. — A woman was charged after a man was found shot and killed in a Velda City apartment Friday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call near where Lucas-Hunt Road meets Lexington Avenue just after 8 p.m., but investigators believe the shooting happened earlier, Pagedale Police Chief Anthony Huckleberry said.
A man, identified as 32-year-old Jordan Armstrong, was found shot to death in the apartment, police said.
The Pagedale Police Department arrested 41-year-old Lanora Carla Arnold in connection to the shooting and associated criminal activities, police said.
According to the police report, Arnold has been charged with multiple felonies, including first-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree burglary.
Huckleberry released the following statement in a Facebook post:

Arnold is currently being held on a $500,000 bond with specified conditions.
