PORTAGE DES SIOUX, Mo. — It was a happy ending for a bald eagle that was trapped due to rising flood waters in Portage Des Sioux.
Zac Beck, with the help of the World Bird Sanctuary, rescued the injured eagle after it was stuck in a tree on Monday.
Beck’s aunt said they have every animal you can think of on the property and there are three large eagle nests there.
Due to flood waters, Beck is stuck on the property and has to take a boat just to get his mail.
