ST. LOUIS — With a gun pressed to his head, a St. Louis man was robbed Saturday morning in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.
The victim, 64, told police the gunman was his son, a 24-year-old man.
"The victim stated his son pressed a black handgun against his forehead and stated 'I'll kill you.'" a brief written report from police said. "The suspect took keys for the victim's scooter and fled the scene."
The robbery happened in the 3100 block of Franklin Avenue— the portion of Franklin Avenue between Cardinal and N Compton avenues.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officers investigated the armed robbery. Police later found the son and arrested him without incident.
When the gunman was arrested, he had 2 stolen firearms, a substance believed to be narcotics and his father's stolen property, police said.
