Man who shot Chesterfield couple worked for them as a construction contractor

According to court documents, Stroisch, was working as a construction contractor when he became angry with two clients. He told his wife he was going to kill the victims.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – 42-year-old Phillip Stroisch is facing two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action after shooting into a couple’s house multiple times and leading police on a manhunt last week.

According to court documents, Stroisch, was working as a construction contractor when he became angry with two clients. He told his wife he was going to kill the victims.

Around 5 a.m. on March 6, he went to the victims’ house while they were asleep and shot multiple times through the door. He struck the husband in the thigh and the wife in the foot.

On March 8, Stroisch was arrested in Arkansas after a woman from St. Louis spotted his car.
