Metro East dad 'fears the worst' for missing daughter

"My daughter is a beautiful, nice person. We just want to know where is she. It's so agonizing," said Willie Logan.

BELLEVILLE, Ill. — "This is every day that I have to deal with this," sad Willie Logan of Mascoutah, Illinois.

Logan said he and his family feel as if their lives are at a standstill.

It's because they haven't seen or heard from their loved one, Beverly Logan, in more than two and a half years.

"All I want is closure. My daughter's been missing for three years and I don't know where she is. It's like she's fallen off the face of the earth," said the worried dad.

Willie Logan says when his wife and daughter last texted one another on Jan. 26, 2022, Beverly was fine.

The Belleville mom had never disappeared before.

Her two daughters are now 10 and 16 years old.

"So, I have to answer questions. You know I'm now prepared to answer the many questions, my 10-year-old granddaughter especially has. She's always asking me 'Papa, where's mommy? Yes, it's very agonizing and tough," Logan said.

Initially, Beverly's mother filed a missing person's report with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office.

Her parents said she was last seen with "a male associate" in the 400 block of Ross Lane in the Belleville area.

They say in April of 2022, St. Clair County investigators went to Bellflower, Missouri in Montgomery County, after "tracing their daughter's cellphone to a man in that area."

They also tell 5 On Your Side's Robert Townsend police also "later found some of Logan's personal items inside a home."

"My daughter didn't have any known enemies. She's a beautiful, friendly person. Everybody liked her, " added the woman's father.

On Tuesday, members of the St. Louis group, Operation Any Means Necessary," scoured Southside Park in Belleville, but they found no sign of the missing mom.

In a statement, Montgomery County Sheriff Craig Allison says "all of our leads have been dead ends. We've followed up on every lead that we received in Montgomery County and so far, nothing has turned up."

Meantime, Logan's dad says in the past month, they've received many heart-wrenching tips, but nothing has led to Beverly.

Her 35th birthday is next week.

"I really don't want to say. I feel like in my heart, that somebody did something to my daughter, and, somebody knows something," said the woman's concerned father.

Another search for Beverly Logan is scheduled to take place in a couple of weeks.

Anyone who has information about her whereabouts should call the Montgomery County, Missouri Sheriff's Office at 573-564-3378 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS.
