FESTUS, Mo. – Four military helicopters made emergency landings after Monday afternoon.

According to Festus police, four army helicopters flying from California to Connecticut got separated once it started raining.
If army helicopters flying together lose sight or communication with one another – the protocol is for them to land as soon as possible.

The Connecticut National Guard said the helicopters were theirs. They will be getting back together at some point tonight, and finish their trip tomorrow.
