Missing 9-year-old St. Louis County boy found safe

Police believe Jewell Williams IV may be with his mother, who does not have custody.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY — UPDATE: 1 a.m. Wednesday: Police say Jewell was found safe.

St. Louis County police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing and endangered 9-year-old boy.

Jewell Williams IV was last seen Tuesday morning outside Salem Lutheran School at 5190 Parker Road in Black Jack. Police say he was dropped off at school and was last seen talking to a woman walking toward a dark sedan on the school parking lot.

He is 5-foot-3 and 105 pounds, last wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants.

Police say he might be with his mother, Rozina Jones-Williams, who does not have legal custody of Jewell. Police say Jones-Williams is 5'04”, 180 pounds and has blonde hair.
