WENTZVILLE, Mo. — A group of three Missouri Lottery players won $2.9 million after an April 3 Lotto drawing.
The ticket was purchased at MotoMart, at 101 Discovery Center Way in Wentzville. It matched all six numbers drawn to win the jackpot. That night, the winning numbers were 6, 8, 12, 15, 17 and 19.
The prize was claimed at Missouri Lottery's St. Louis Office on April 15.
Kelly Lagemann, the store manager, says the store has regularly sold many lottery tickets since opening in January.
"Congratulations [to them]. I am absolutely happy about it. I am so proud. My daughter called me and told me the store sold a winning lottery ticket. She said, 'Yeah! I see it online.'"
MotoMart is open 24 hours a day. It's located just north of Interstate Highway 70 near David Hoekel Parkway.
