COLUMBIA, Ill. — A tow truck driver was struck and killed Wednesday morning in Monroe County, Illinois, a police spokesperson said.
The Monroe County Coroner's Office identified him as Wade Bivins, 57, of East Carondelet, Illinois.
The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. on Interstate Highway 255's southbound lanes near Columbia, a written statement from the Illinois State Police said.
