ST. LOUIS — One person was killed in a motorcycle crash early Tuesday morning in south St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Accident Reconstruction investigators were called at about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Gustine and Gravois avenues, located on the edge of the city's Gravois Park neighborhood.
In a Tuesday afternoon update, police said the man was speeding eastbound on Gravois when he lost control of the bike and struck his head on the curb. He was not wearing a helmet.
On Monday, he was identified as Robert Doi, a St. Louis resident who lived about a block from where the crash occurred.
