ST. LOUIS — A motorcyclist died Friday evening in a crash in north St. Louis' Walnut Park East neighborhood.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said a motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in a crash at 8:20 p.m. at West Florissant and Davison avenues. The motorcyclist, identified as 40-year-old Krystofer James, was pronounced dead at the scene.
James was reportedly trying to travel between two cars before he struck the passenger side of one of the cars and lost control, police said. He was thrown from the motorcycle before hitting the ground.
Accident reconstruction is at the scene and has an ongoing investigation.
