ID=23268037ST. PETERS, Mo. – Parents say their children could be in danger in a St. Peters neighborhood. Neighbors complain that drivers are speeding by their homes and they fear a child could be hit.

It's happening on West Sunny Hill Boulevard just south of Mexico Road, near St. Charles Community College. The speed limit in that area is 25 mph. The St. Peters Police Department assessed 7600 vehicles that passed through this area last month and 98.7 percent of the vehicles were going 10 miles or less over the speed limit and about one percent were going between 15 to 19 miles an hour.

Neighbors just hope drivers slow down.

The police says West Sunny Hill Boulevard has been a thoroughfare for about a year and half now. Police say they haven't tracked anyone going 40 or 50 miles an hour down that street.
