ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A woman died as a result of her injuries and three others were injured in a serious three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in north St. Louis County.
The St. Louis County Police Department said at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, a crash happened at the intersection of North Lindbergh Boulevard and Jamestown Bay Drive.
Preliminary investigation revealed a Honda CRV was turning eastbound onto North Lindbergh when it was struck by a westbound Ford Taurus and a Chevrolet Malibu that was also traveling eastbound.
The driver of the CRV, identified Thursday as 63-year-old Marian Harris-Dukes of St. Louis, was taken to an area hospital. She later died from her injuries.
A 7-year-old passenger in the CRV and the drivers of the other vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident. They were all taken to area hospitals for treatment.
A photographer with 5 On Your Side at the scene saw that all three vehicles sustained heavy damage.
