ST. LOUIS - The newly renovated Old Cathedral reopened to the public Tuesday.

The church and the museum underwent $15 million in renovations. Contractors restored everything from the steeple to the original hand-laid tiles around the altar.

The church sits beneath the Gateway Arch and is the first Catholic Cathedral west of the Mississippi, dating back to 1834.
