A male was taken to the hospital after a homemade firework blew up on him Friday night.
The Rock Community Fire District said the male was taken to a trauma unit in serious but stable condition after a sparkler bomb blew up on him.
The accident happened in a home near the intersection of Tenbrook and Arnold Tenbrook roads.
The fire department said the Arnold Police Department is investigating.
