Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition raised more than enough funds for 'Foster Hope Day'

Donations can still be made online in honor of Foster Hope Day.

ST. LOUIS — The Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition has surpassed its goal of raising $233,000 during its daylong “Foster Hope Day” fundraising blitz.

The campaign ended at 103 percent-to-goal with $240,241 raised to benefit the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition. The coalition is a child welfare non-profit serving our area's children and families. Their mission is to create permanency in foster children’s lives through recruitment and support of foster and adoptive families in the St. Louis area.

5 On Your Side has been a proud partner of the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition for more than 20 years. Each week, a child in foster care is featured in a segment called “A Place to Call Home.” Since its inception in 2002, this partnership has helped find more than 500 children in their forever families.
