ST. LOUIS — KSDK 5 On Your Side led the country for viewing of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games across multiple time periods for Households with Adults 25-54 (HH25-54), according to newly-released data from Comscore.
KSDK ranked #1 among the Top 30 U.S. markets for HH25-54 with the following ratings:
- Olympic Prime (M-Su) – 17.0 rating
- Olympic Zone (M-Sa) – 10.8 rating
- Weekday Daytime – 6.6 rating
- Weekend PM – 13.5 rating
- Closing Ceremony Prime (replay) – 11.9 rating
KSDK also ranked in the top three NBC affiliates nationally in the following time periods in HH25-54 with the following ratings:
- Opening Ceremony Daytime (live) - #2 with a 9.5 rating
- Opening Ceremony Prime (replay) - #2 with a 14.5 rating
- Weekend AM - #3 with a 7.8 rating
In all Olympic time periods, St. Louis viewing of the Paris Games significantly outperformed delivery of the 2020 Tokyo Games, which aired from July 23 – Aug. 8, 2021:
- Opening Ceremony Daytime (live) – 157%
- Opening Ceremony Prime (replay) – 93%
- Olympic Prime (M-Su) – 49%
- Weekday Daytime – 128%
- Weekday PM – 136%
- Weekend AM – 100%
- Weekend PM – 125%
- Olympic Zone – 63%
- Closing Ceremony Prime (replay) – 43%

5 On Your Side’s coverage of the Olympic Games is always unmatched. This year, “Today in St. Louis” anchor Rene Knott traveled to Paris as part of the TEGNA delegation, KSDK’s parent company. He was in Paris for the duration of the games to provide St. Louisans a behind-the-scenes look at the excitement. He also interviewed Olympians with ties to St. Louis, and helped bring their stories home to friends, family, and fans. This was Knott’s fourth time covering the Olympics on behalf of 5 On Your Side and TEGNA.

Hosted by Sports Director Frank Cusumano and anchor Anne Allred Monday through Friday and MSJs Corey Miller and Annie Krall on Saturdays, the Olympic Zone is a 30-minute program that airs Monday through Saturday during each Olympics cycle. The show features stories about local Olympians, profiles of prominent Olympians, recaps of competitions and more.
