ST. LOUIS — 5 On Your Side has hired Annie Krall as the station’s newest general assignment multi-skilled journalist.
A native of Chicago, Krall has previously served as an LPGA correspondent, and will contribute to the station’s Friday night sports coverage.
Krall comes to 5 On Your Side from WLS Radio 890AM, where she reported local and national news of the day. She also spent time as adjunct faculty at Columbia College Chicago and Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, her alma mater. She also worked as a multimedia journalist at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the legendary team at KSDK,” said Krall. “The warm welcome has not gone unnoticed. Being able to contribute to such a thoughtful news operation and charismatic sports team in this unique way may be my most exciting chapter yet.”

When I saw her audition tape, I saw general assignment stories, I saw medical stories, I saw sports stories including LPGA golf and her coverage of the NFL’s Packers during her time in Green Bay, Wisconsin,” said News Director Art Holliday. “She’s demonstrated she can tell a variety of stories and KSDK is leaning into Annie’s skill set as she will assist our sports department along with news reporting.”
Krall’s first day at 5 On Your Side will be Monday, Oct. 23.
