ST. LOUIS — Current “Today in St. Louis” multi-skilled journalist Mercedes Mackay has been promoted to weekend morning co-anchor.
Mackay came to 5 On Your Side in June 2022 from KSDK sister-station KTHV in Little Rock, Arkansas. She will join co-anchor Travis Cummings for “Today in St. Louis” at 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. each Saturday and Sunday. She will begin her new role in the coming weeks.

Mackay attended University of Missouri’s School of Journalism and earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in business.
