ST. LOUIS — After spending a lifetime accepting checks donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, KSDK anchor-reporter Mike Bush got to present that organization with a check.
The TEGNA Foundation is awarding MDA with a $5,000 grant. TEGNA is the parent company of 5 On Your Side.
KSDK General Manager Alicia Elsner was on hand for the check presentation.
For 38 years, Bush has hosted the MDA telethon – the marathon version – which is now known as the “MDA Show of Strength.”
