A former bar burned to the ground in imperial Sunday.
The fire started around 2:30 a.m. on Old Lemay Ferry Road.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming out of the building.
One person was inside at the time and got out safely.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The building has been in Imperial for a while.
It once housed Sally's Bar, and before that it was home to a VFW Hall.
