ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A man was struck and killed early Sunday morning on Interstate 55 in St. Louis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on northbound I-55 near Meramec Bottom Road. There, the driver of a 2005 Nissan Xterra fatally struck a pedestrian in the roadway.
The pedestrian, 46-year-old Frederick Seim of Columbia, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to MSHP.
