FLORISSANT, Mo. — Traffic was slowed down on Interstate 270 in Florissant after a deadly crash Tuesday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Florissant Police Department responded to the crash.
The crash happened at around 6 p.m. and led to the closure of three lanes of westbound traffic near New Florissant Road, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
A spokesperson with MSHP confirmed that a pedestrian was struck and killed.
The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, an MSHP spokesperson said.
