ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed early Wednesday morning.
According to a social media post, the crash happened at about 5:15 a.m. near the intersection of Tucker Boulevard and Cass Avenue.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
A police department spokesman said a witness told them the woman was walking in a crosswalk but did not have a walk light. He said video from the department's Real Time Crime Center confirmed that.
