CREVE COEUR, Mo. — A woman was struck and killed Sunday morning while crossing the road in Creve Coeur.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the deadly pedestrian crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Schuetz Road and Millstone Campus Drive, located near Pattonville Willow Brook Elementary School and the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum. The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment but later died.
The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction assumed the ongoing investigation.
Police said preliminary investigation indicated the woman was walking across Schuetz Road when she was hit. The driver of the vehicle stayed and the scene and was cooperating with investigators.

As of Monday morning, police had not shared the victim's identity or whether the driver was facing charges.
