BONNE TERRE, Mo. — A woman was struck and killed by a car on Missouri Route 47 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on Wednesday morning.
Cpl. Logan Bolton with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a pedestrian crash occurred on Missouri Route 47 near Jefferson Avenue. The crash happened at about 5:45 a.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 40-year-old Laura Reagan of Bonne Terre was walking northbound in the northbound lane as a Buick Century traveling northbound approached a hilltop. The right front side of the Buick struck her.
Reagan was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:14 a.m.
