ST. LOUIS - This year's Forest Park Balloon Glow was cancelled due to windy and unsafe conditions.
Officials say it was too windy to safely inflate the hot-air balloons, but operators were allowed to light the burners that fill the balloons. The scheduled fireworks were also able to be set off.
Saturday's race started about 20 minutes late due to the wind, and not all the balloons were able to go up, but the race went on!
