A small plane made an emergency landing on the Page Avenue Extension Monday night.
The plane landed in the Eastbound lanes near the 141 exit just after 9 p.m. No cars were hit and no one was hurt, according to Maryland Heights Police.
The pilot and co-pilot were practicing landings and take offs from the Creve Coeur Airport when they had engine trouble.

The airplane was taken back to a hangar at the Creve Coeur Airport.
According to FAA records, the plane is registered to Boeing Employees Flying Club St. Louis Inc.
The FAA is investigating the accident.
