BALLWIN, Mo. – A man is in custody after police said he was waving a sword and firing a gun near an apartment complex in Ballwin, Missouri.
Jacob Dunn, 21, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated after an incident on Thursday, May 3.
Police said they were called to the complex for a report of shots fired and a suspicious person with a sword. When they arrived, they found a 9 mm shell casing outside the door of an apartment.
When police talked to Dunn, he appeared to be drunk. He eventually told police he fired a shot and they were able to find a loaded pistol inside his microwave.
He also told police that he was under the influence of cocaine and vodka.
