ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a shooting occurred on Interstate 55 Friday night.
Officials said the shooting started in the 4500 block of South Broadway and continued onto the northbound lanes of the interstate.
Police said two men were injured in the shooting. The first victim was shot in the face and the second was shot in the side.
Both victims were conscious and breathing at the scene and were taken to an area hospital.
Editors note: Police originally reported that three people were shot. They later confirmed to 5 On Your Side that two people were injured in the shooting.
