ST. LOUIS – A downtown St. Louis street will be closed Wednesday morning while crews hoist a pool up on the roof of a new hotel.
15th Street will be closed during the process.
The pool is going up 10 stories and will be over 12 feet wide by nearly 60b feet long. It’s three-and-a-half feet deep. The Last Hotel is set to open this spring on Washington Avenue.
The entire pool will be hoisted in two pieces each weighing nearly 15,000 pounds.
