Public funeral services to be held for Ally Kostial in St. Louis

Ally Kostial’s father announced there will be a public visitation and funeral service this weekend for the Ole Miss student.

ST. LOUIS — The Ole Miss student from St. Louis who was found shot to death in Mississippi will be laid to rest this weekend.

Ally Kostial’s father announced there will be a public visitation and public funeral service. Services will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church at 505 S. Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood.

The visitation will be held on from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, July 26.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27.

A GoFundMe has been set up by a family member to help with funeral expenses. Thoughts and condolences can be shared online here.

Kostial graduated from Lindbergh High School in 2016. She was attending summer school and teaching fitness classes at Ole Miss. Police and prosecutors believe she was murdered.

Kostial was 21 years old.

One of her classmates was taken into custody Monday and charged with murder.
