FARMINGTON, Mo. — Schnucks has issued a voluntary recall of all varieties of fresh ground beef at its Farmington store.
The recall is for ground beef purchased before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The beef may contain pieces of plastic product wrap, according to a press release.
Customers who purchased ground beef with a sell-by date of April 19 should return the product to the store for a full refund or exchange.
There have been no reported illnesses or injuries.
Schnucks said this is an isolated incident that does not affect any other stores.
