ST. LOUIS – Customers are invited to celebrate the completion of the Schnucks South City remodel.
The store, located at 3430 S. Grand, will host sampling throughout the weekend, sweepstakes where customers can win prizes, and the 14' tall Schnucks Big Cart will be on the store's parking lot all day Friday.
The celebration begins with a ribbon cutting Friday at 8:30 a.m.
"We are excited to invite our customers in to see the store's transformation. Investing in this store community is one of the best ways to celebrate our company's 75th Anniversary year in 2014. Schnucks started as a 1,000-square-foot corner confectionery in North St. Louis in 1939. Today, we are proud to serve St. Louis City customers at nine locations," said Scott Schnucks, chairman and CEO.
The 74,000 square-foot store opened in 1990 and was last remodeled 13 years ago. This round of renovations includes new shelving and refrigeration, updated lighting and décor, and an expansion of the dairy, frozen foods, and liquor departments.
