ST. LOUIS — Schnucks pledged a total of $200,000 to benefit the Folds of Honor Friday. Folds of Honor is a non-profit organization that supports families of military and first responders.

The Schnucks community pitched in to help the company’s “Round Up at the Register Campaign,” which offered people the chance to round up to the nearest dollar on their purchase.

The campaign ran at all store locations from May 15-28. It supported 40 educational scholarships for spouses and children of veterans and first responders injured or killed in the line of duty.

Schnucks said would donate 100% of the proceeds to Folds of Honor. This marked the company’s seventh annual Folds of Honor campaign.

“For seven years running, our customers continue to answer the call to support the families of those who serve our great country and protect us every day,” said Schnucks Chairman Todd Schnuck in a Schnucks’ press release.

Since 2018, the company has raised over $5 million, supporting more than 1,000 educational scholarships.
