ST. LOUIS — An early Sunday morning crash involving a semi-truck prompts Interstate 44 to close several lanes.
At 7 a.m., first responders were called to the eastbound lanes just east of Shrewsbury Avenue for a crash. Once there, they found an overturned semi-truck down a wooded embankment.
Police said the driver suffered minor lacerations in the single-vehicle crash.
At 9:30 a.m., tow trucks are on scene to remove the semi. Only one lane of traffic is open.
This is a developing story. 5 On Your Side will update once all lanes have been reopened.
