St. Charles man faces incest, sodomy charges involving victim younger than 12

ST CHARLES, Mo. — A St. Charles man who lives less than a mile from four schools has been recently accused in the sodomy of a victim who is younger than 12, according to court documents.

The suspect, 33-year-old Nathan Grater, allegedly sodomized the victim between April and October. He is also facing incest charges.

Grater's bond was set at $75,000, cash-only, with the condition that he have no contact with the victim or other minors.

The suspect lives less than a mile from St. Charles West High School, Monroe Elementary School, Jefferson Intermediate School, and St Cletus School.

St. Charles County Police Department investigators handled the case.
