ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after a man was found dead Thursday afternoon in The Ville neighborhood.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were dispatched after a man was found dead in a vacant lot in the 4400 block of Cote Brilliante Avenue. The man had lacerations to his torso.
Homicide investigators and a medical examiner were called to the scene. Police have not released the man's name, and the suspect was unknown.
