ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis College of Pharmacy hasn't won a game in almost 28,000 hours. That's 1163 days. More than three years. The 85-game losing streak is close to an NAIA record.

They have talented players, a coach with quite a basketball resume and play in a marvelous, brand-new $40 million facility.

However, they just can't finish.

The players know their futures are in good hands. The average starting salary as soon as they graduate is over $100,000, but they want to win a game.

Under coach Danny Brown, they are more competitive then they have been in years. The games are sometimes close.

They just need to win one.

The NAIA losing streak record is 86 consecutive losses. Dallas College of Texas set the mark 30 years ago. The Eutectics could break the record a week from Thursday. We hope this is one record they don't break.
