St. Louis County 911 system restored late Thursday night

All 911 and non-emergency calls were routed to St. Louis during the outage. Service was restored at about 11:15 p.m.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — St. Louis County 911 calls were back in service after an outage Thursday evening.

The St. Louis County Police Department announced at around 8:30 p.m. that both its 911 system and non-emergency phone lines were down and that it was working with the provider to restore service as soon as possible. Both services were restored by about 11:15 p.m.

911 calls were routed to St. Louis and were still answered during the outage, police said.
