ST. LOUIS — Background extras are needed for a movie that begins shooting in St. Louis in November.

Shooting for the feature film "On Fire" runs between Nov. 6 and Dec. 9. It's being directed by Sean McNamara, known for previous films "Raise Your Voice" and "Soul Surfer," and will feature actors William H. Macy and John Corbett.

The film is based on the book “On Fire: 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life,” written by burn survivor and St. Louis native John O’Leary.

People in the St. Louis area age 18 and up are needed as background extras. Those who want more information or to apply may visit the film's casting page.

If selected, extras will be contacted between Oct. 27 and Dec. 6.
