South St. Louis home fire, no injuries reported

According the Fire Department's statement, there were people living inside of the building.

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis City home caught fire on Saturday morning.

St. Louis City Fire Department responded to a fire in a two-story brick home in the 3300 block of Oregon Avenue around 7 a.m.  

The fire is believed to have started on the back porch of the building and spread to the first and second floors.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the building.

According the Fire Department's statement, there were people living inside at the time of the fire. 

Firefighters said no one was injured and believed all occupants made it out safely.

Firefighters have also not shared the cause of the fire.
