St. Louis to host NCAA championship

ST. LOUIS — The NCAA Division I wrestling championships are returning to St. Louis.

Enterprise Center will host the 2027 Division I wrestling finals, the NCAA announced Wednesday. The venue has several times has hosted the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships, most recently in 2021.

The NCAA Wednesday announced more than 240 host sites for its upcoming championships as part of a two-year site selection process. The St. Louis Sports Commission submitted bids to host events in eight different sports, landing only the 2027 Division I wrestling finals. Founded in 1989, the Sports Commission is an independent nonprofit organization focused on promoting sports in the region and attracting and hosting major sports events locally. The Sports Commission is partnering with the University of Missouri-Columbia to host the 2027 Division I wrestling finals at Enterprise Center.
