A man caught on camera violently kicking in a car door at a busy intersection in St. Peters could face charges, Missouri State Troopers said.
State troopers are currently investigating this incident as a possible case of road rage.
A driver used his cell phone to record the incident. State troopers say it happened at an exit ramp on State Highway 79.
The video shows a man kicking the door of another man's vehicle last Thursday just after 11:00 in the morning.
Dalton Powers says he and and his two friends were on their way to lunch when they pulled up to the intersection and saw a man punching and kicking another car.
Powers says after about a minute of watching in disbelief, his friend started recording the video.
Witnesses say the driver who was hitting the car eventually drove off.
Dalton's friend put the video on Facebook last Thursday and it has gone viral with thousands of views.
Missouri State Highway Patrol has seen the video.
Investigators have spoken with the victim in this case. However, there is no word yet on any contact with the other driver. There are no road rage charges in Missouri. However, the driver could face charges for property damage and assault.
