Tanker truck struck by train in south St. Louis, suffers minor damage

The fire department said no one was injured in the crash.

ST. LOUIS — A tanker truck sustained minor damage Monday morning after it was struck by a train in south St. Louis.

The St. Louis Fire Department said the collision happened near the intersection of South Broadway and Mott Street. Video from the scene showed damage to the truck's right rear wheel and bumper. The train appeared to have some scratches on the front of the engine.

The scene of the crash was in an industrial area, and the crash investigation was not causing any major traffic issues,

The fire department said no one was injured in the crash.
