Teen killed in north city accident identified

A teen killed Thursday afternoon in a north St. Louis car accident has been identified.
Fifteen-year-old Ricardo Culpepper was killed Thursday afternoon in an accident in north St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS – A teen killed Thursday afternoon in a north St. Louis car accident has been identified.

Fifteen-year-old Ricardo Culpepper Jr. was killed shortly before 3:30 p.m. when the vehicle he was driving went airborne, striking a tree in the 2700 block of Bacon.

Culpepper was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 16-year-old passenger was also taken to an area hospital. His condition is listed as critical and unstable.
