ST. LOUIS — The Muny is celebrating 100 years this summer, but they are already looking ahead to the next 100 years.
After this season, the facility will get a multi-million-dollar makeover, including a $50-million stage renovation and a move for the orchestra pit.
The backstage area and dressing rooms will also be getting a refresh.
Leaders at The Muny said the updates will allow them to bring world-class musical theatre to the people of St. Louis, but they need help.
The project is expected to cost about $100 million, and The Muny has launched a fundraising campaign to help finance the updates.
